Cookies Policy

This Cookies Policy describes the rules of storing and accessing data on the User Devices using the Service for the purposes of the provision of services by electronic means by the System Administrator.

 

§ 1 Definitions

  • The Service - the internet service operating at https://www.partex.co.za/

  • Third Party Service - internet services of partners, service providers or service or customers of the Administrator

  • Administrator - The Administrator - Partex Marking Systems SA Ltd., registered at the following address: Unit 6, Tilt Up Park, 4 Umdoni Crescent, Westmead, KZN, Suid-Afrika, which provides services by electronic means via the Service and stores and accesses data on the User Devices

  • User - a natural person, to which the Administrator provides services by electronic means via the Service.

  • Device - an electronic device with software, via which the User accesses the Service

  • Cookies - text data gathered as files stored to the User Device

 

§ 2 Cookies types

  • Internal Cookies - files stored on and read from the User Device by the ICT system of the Service

  • Third Party Cookies - files stored on and read from the User Device by the ITC systems of Third Party Services

  • Session Cookies - files stored on and read from the User Device by the Service or Third Party Services during a single session of the given Device. After the end of the sessions, files are deleted from the User Device.

  • Permanent Cookies - files stored on and read from the User Device by the Service or Third Party Services until manually deleted. Files are not deleted automatically after the end of the session of the Device, unless the configuration the User Device is set to delete Cookies after the end of the session of the Device.

 

§ 3 Safety

  • Storage and reading mechanisms - Cookies storage and reading mechanisms do not enable downloading personal data or any other confidential information from the User Device. The transmission of viruses, trojan horses and other worms to the User Device is practically impossible.

  • Internal Cookies - internal cookies used by the Administrator are safe for User Devices

  • Third Party Cookies - the Service Administrator is not responsible for the safety of the Cookies from Service partners. The list of partners is included further in the Cookies Policy.

 

§ 4 The purposes of using Cookies

  • Service access improvement and facilitation - The Administrator may use Cookies to store information on user preferences and settings related to the Service in order to improve, upgrade and expedite the provision of services within the Service.

  • Logging - The Administrator uses Cookies for the purposes of User logging in the Service

  • Marketing and advertising - The Administrator and Third Party Services use Cookies for marketing purposes and to provide User advertisements.

  • Statistics - The Administrator and Third Party Services use Cookies to collect and process statistics, such as e.g. Visit statistics, User Device statistics or user behaviour statistics. The data is collected to analyse and improve the Service.

  • Provision of multimedia services - The Administrator and Third Parties use Cookies to provide multimedia services to the Users.

 

§ 5 Third Party Services

The Administrator works with the following third parties, which may store cookies in User Devices:

  • Google Analytics

  • Youtube

 

§ 6 The option to set the terms of storage and access on the User Devices by the Service and Third Party Services

  • The User may, at any time, change the settings related to stored Cookies data storage, deletion and access

  • he User may, at any time, delete any already stored Cookies using the User Device, via which the User accesses the Service.

 

§ 7 Service requirements

  • Restriction of Cookies storage and access in the User Device may cause malfunction of some functions of the Service.

  • The Administrator is not responsible for any malfunction if Cookie storage and reading is restricted by the User.

 

§ 8 Changes to the Cookies Policy

  • The Administrator reserves the right to introduce any changes to the Cookies Policy without informing the users thereof.

  • The changes introduced to the Cookies Policy will always be published on this page.

  • The changes shall become effective on the published date of the Cookies Policy.
